How do I place my child? (also known as “giving baby up for adoption”)

And, due to the importance of this decision, you probably have thousands of thoughts, questions and emotions - all the way from how to decide if giving up your baby for adoption is the right decision; to what type of family is best for your baby; and what support you could receive if you do decide to place your baby.

At Golden Cradle®, you can be in charge of finding the best family for your baby (if you want)

If you decide to place your baby, know that with Golden Cradle®, you can have a say in the adoptive family for your baby, if you want. Our goal is your goal: what is best for you and your child. With Golden Cradle®’s trained counselors right there, working hand in hand with you, you can have as much say as you want in choosing the right family for your baby. And, if you desire, you can also choose the level of communication you want with the adoptive family as you go through your pregnancy and the adoption process.

Peace of Mind

You want the best family environment for your baby. We take that wish seriously, and ensure that all of our adoptive families are eagerly waiting for a child. We also make sure that these adoptive parents have taken adoption education classes which include how to be the best parent of an adopted child. And, we teach the adoptive parents how to be sensitive to birth parents’ situations and feelings so later, they can talk positively to the children about adoption and their birth parents.

Plus, all of our adopting families are checked for criminal records, screened for histories of child abuse, and have been approved, according to state regulations, to be adoptive parents. You can be assured that your baby will be safe with any of our families seeking to adopt.
