Deena & Avi

We were both born and grew up in the same community in Manchester, United Kingdom where we still live. We were introduced by a mutual friend and have been married for 9 years. Avi is a property manager and Dena is a pre-school teacher, who will take leave from work after the baby arrives. Dena enjoys cooking and dancing and Avi enjoys cycling and walking. We both come from large extended families with many nieces and nephews. Both of our families are aware of our adoption plan and are very supportive.

Participating in community events, celebrating national holidays as well as life’s milestones are all part of our regular family life. We believe in sharing what we have been blessed with and giving to our neighbors, family, friends and community.  We feel a good education is very important and would encourage your child to do their best in school and to develop their natural abilities. We look forward to discussing and sharing with you your hopes and aspirations for your child’s future. We will tell the child about their adoption at a young age so it will be a natural part of their life. We look forward to sharing photos and anecdotes of your child’s life with you.
