Laura & Rich

We want to thank you for taking the time to read our story and considering us as adoptive parents to your child. Our names are Laura and Rich and we have an 8 year old son named Michael who we adopted through Golden Cradle.  We just recently celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and share our happy home with Michael and his 3 year old cocker spaniel named "Fudge". We live in a wonderful community with a great school system, public parks, biking trails, and a neighborhood pool. Also close by is a great city where we enjoy kids museums, theaters, and zoos. Our priority is our family and we spend most of our time together and we often visit with relatives and friends all over the country. Our parents live nearby and we have 8 siblings and 19 nieces and nephews. Holidays are a special time for family and we enjoy sharing Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and other family celebrations. Rich runs a small home business and teaches at a local high school.

Laura works in corporate advertising. We have an excellent balance as a family and we have a lot of fun travelling together, going to ballgames, summers at the beach, sailing, the movies and outdoor parks. We also believe it is important to give back as a family so we always volunteer to help others in our community. Though our family life is rich in love,  we have been hoping to grow our family and share it with more children. Our son Michael is very loving, thoughtful and caring with all children. Michael has been eagerly waiting for a new younger brother or sister and you can be certain of a loving relationship all around. We know how difficult your choice is. Please know we will love and take good care of your child and provide a wonderful happy life and home.
